"We flew first to Le Touquet, then to Clermont Ferrand for the night.  The next day we flew on to a small airfield outside Lauroux. My uncle paid the builder, and we set off back, landing at Versailles for a night in Paris. The next morning (day 3) we set off for Southend but fog forced us to land at Biggin Hill, and we had to hire are car to get to Southend."
